SDSFIE-V 4.0 Gold approved, mandated for full implementation by 2020

Changes from SDSFIE-Vector (V) 3.1 to 4.0 include naming consistency, flexibility to support alternative naming, standardized Definitions with added Notes and Description fields for more in-depth user information, and changes within the model to meet the mission needs of nearly every Energy, Installations, and Environment (EI&E) and civil works functional area.

SDSFIE-V 4.0.1 Gold (Corrigendum Release) approved by the IGG

On 22 March 2018, the IGI&S Governance Group (IGG) unanimously approved the first Corrigendum Release of the 4.0 Gold Vector model. SDSFIE-V 4.0.1 Gold was created by implementing all of the Corrigendum-level changes to 4.0 that had been approved to date. Corrigendum-level changes do not affect interoperability among Component users of the 4.0 model, or have minimal impacts. Corrigendum changes are typically either enumerant extensions that are non-overlapping with existing enumerants in an enumeration, or are changes to Definitions, Descriptions, or Notes that do not alter the set of collected features or attribute data about the features.
